Zurich Insurance - World Web Forum

January 2020

On the eve of Trump’s impeachment trial and Australia’s raging wildfires, the 2020 Edition of the Worldweb Forum was about learning how leadership is in need of radical change. I was brought in to Chair the Human-Centered Design Track sponsored by Zurich Insurance. This involved balancing the desires of Zurich Insurance and the needs of the Worldweb Forum; curating the speakers, organizing the full two-day agenda as well as designing collateral.

The thread I wove through the speakers I invited to the Human-Centered Design Track was their ability to question the status quo. Speakers like CEO Billie Whitehouse of Wearable X and architect Roxy Rahel Guellmeister at Foster + Partners. It’s their ability to ask questions, even if there is no apparent answer in sight, that empowers them to move the needle a little further.

Jeremy worked with our Innovation team at Zurich Insurance over a two months’ period to develop and host our Human-Centered Design track at the Worldwebforum 2020 held in Zürich, Switzerland in January 2020.  The feedback received from the participants resulted in our Zurich Insurance Track being among the top performing tracks in the summit, with an average NPS score of 91%.
